    Bankruptcy Noticing Center Service Interruption
  • On Friday, October 9, 2026, the Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC) alerted the court of a service disruption to notice processing and the generation of the list of creditors. The BNC cannot provide noticing services to the courts at this time either through paper mailing or through electronic notices to debtors or creditors with an EBN account. Electronic noticing to registered users in ECF has not been impacted. During this disruption, the Court will continue to accept filings, open cases, and process documents according to standard procedures. However, there may be a delay in the entry and service of notices and orders from the Court as well as the service of 341 Notices until this matter is resolved. The BNC is actively investigating the disruption and working to restore services.
    Impacts:
    •   Any notices and orders served by the Court on or after Friday, October 9th have not been mailed to the appropriate parties.
    •    Anyone trying to access the “List of Creditors” report will be met with a server error.
    •    DeBN account creation and updates are currently suspended.
Additionally, the following websites are unavailable:
    •    bnc.uscourts.gov
    •    bankruptcynotices.uscourts.gov
    •    notices.uscourts.gov
    •    National Creditor Registration Service (website that supports CM/ECF access to address labels)

The BNC disruption is also affecting CM/ECF users’ access to the mailing matrix. Until resolved, CM/ECF users seeking to serve pleadings and delegated notices/orders may access the list of creditors and addresses within a case through the following process:
    Accessing the List of Creditors:
    1.    Select “Query” from the top menu in CM/ECF.
    2.    Input the case number and select the “Run Query” button.
    3.    Select the “Creditor” link.
    4.    The next screen will ask what Creditor type that you are searching. You may leave the “Creditor type” selection blank and select “Run Query” to list all creditors.
    5.    The next screen will display the list of the creditors and addresses to assist with service.
Please note that the list of creditors does not include all interested parties to a case, such as the debtor(s), trustees, or the U.S. Trustee. Therefore, parties and counsel should review service requirements to ensure that notice is provided to all appropriate parties, including those not listed on CM/ECF’s list of creditors.

We will provide further updates as information becomes available.
