The Bankruptcy Judges of the Western District of Tennessee and the Local Rules Committee have approved publication of two new proposed local bankruptcy rules. The full text of the proposed new local rules: TNWB LBR 2016-1 Compensation for Services Rendered and Reimbursement of Expenses and TNWB LBR 3011-1 Disbursement of Unclaimed Funds.

     Please provide any comments with respect to the proposed new local rules. The comment deadline is August 1, 2026. Please submit all comments electronically by sending an email to public_comment@tnwb.uscourts.gov. Please insert the phrase “Local Rules” in the subject line of all comments. All commentators will remain anonymous, personally identifying information will be redacted from the email before providing the comments to the bankruptcy judges and committee members. The bankruptcy judges and committee members will carefully review all timely comments.

     The new proposed rules will not become effective until adopted by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
